Meet Jennifer
Jen grew up in a cabin in the woods along the Columbia River Gorge. After marrying her husband and finishing college, she spent twenty years in Alaska raising her two children before moving to the Upstate South Carolina.
Writing has been one of Jen’s passions since childhood. Over the years she has written for several blogs, including Alaska Christian Women’s Ministry and Moms of Faith. She also published a handful of short stories and historical novels, most recently co-authoring two books set in the Viking Age.
In addition to leading a ladies’ prayer group in her home, Jen serves in the prayer ministry at her church and the biannual Freedom Course and Retreat. Her most favorite things in the world include mornings, pedicures, flip-flops, and dolphins, as well as the ocean and the sunrise. When she is not working at her day job in the medical field, Jen enjoys reading, writing and traveling — especially to the beach!
Jennifer’s Testimony: “Since I grew up in church, I thought I understood who I was. I had it wrong.”
“I was in my thirties before I recognized just how much I misunderstood about my identity. Even though I’d ‘been a Christian’ since age five, my life was an utter mess…”
